This is a guide to watch full hd movies on your ps3, without any form of quality loss.
You will need
Movies in mkv format
mkv2vob
usb storage device (FAT32 format)
ps3
Endurance
Megashares
Read this through.
First of all you download the movie you want to, i find megashares the fastest and best way to do this, a premium acc is cheap and easy to use.
Then you open mkv2vob and insert your usb device.
Go to configurations in mkv2vob
Select "AVCHD - USB" from your output device drop down menu.
Then go to add file and select your movie as your source file.
Then select your usb device as your destination directory.
and then add file.
Then wait, maybe a couple of hours.
Afterwards your usb device will have a folder named after the movie.
In this folder you will find another folder called AVCHD
Depending on which movie you want to see, cut the AVCHD folder to the main directory of the usb device.
Then you can plug it in to your ps3, and you will se a file called AVCHD and it is a videofile the ps3 can play without problems.
If you want to see another movie, do the same trick, just remember to put the AVCHD back to the original folder on the movie, on the usb device. There can NOT be two AVCHD folders in the usb device's main directory.
I found this to be the best way to not lose quality of the movie.
